Klepsydra S.A. Reports Strong Q1 2026 Performance Amid Market Consolidation Efforts
Grupa Klepsydra S.A., the leading funeral services provider in Poland, has reported robust financial results for the first quarter of 2026, driven by its ongoing market consolidation strategy. The company achieved a 26.8% year-on-year increase in consolidated net sales revenue, reaching PLN 18.43 million, compared to PLN 14.54 million in Q1 2025. Net profit also surged to PLN 2.08 million, up from PLN 1.21 million in the same period last year. Adjusted net profit, which excludes amortization of acquired companies, rose to PLN 2.64 million, reflecting a 46% increase from Q1 2025.
During the quarter, Klepsydra S.A. finalized the acquisition of Glob Sp. z o.o., a major competitor in the international transport of deceased individuals and ashes. This acquisition further solidifies Klepsydra's leadership in this segment. The company also continued integrating previously acquired entities, such as STYKS Sp. z o.o., PUK Lublin Sp. z o.o., and Centrum Pogrzebowe Zieleń Miejska Sp. z o.o., by implementing unified reporting standards, financial policies, and operational efficiencies. The group's total assets increased to PLN 113.92 million, up from PLN 100.22 million in Q1 2025, while equity rose to PLN 85.95 million.
Despite these achievements, the company faced challenges in its standalone operations, reporting a net loss of PLN 251,166 for the quarter, compared to a loss of PLN 293,874 in Q1 2025. The standalone revenue also declined to PLN 24,180, down from PLN 39,000 in the same period last year.
